How a woman's body changes during pregnancy?

Hair during pregnancy

by Richard Kozinski

Your hair looks fuller when you are pregnant. But you aren’t growing more hair and the strands aren't thicker. You are losing it more slowly. After this period, this hair falls out while you're brushing or shampooing it. It is replaced by new growth. Some women have shinier hair and some of them notice that it changes in texture. After giving birth more hair falls out.

You can also notice that your facial and body hair may grow faster because of an increase in hormones called androgens. Avoid using chemicals such as depilatories or bleaches, which may be absorbed into the bloodstream.
